I probably wouldn't have raised preflop, but it's acceptable. I would have capped the flop and then slowed down if he led again at the turn.

Slow down as in fold or call down like I did? Should I be expecting a flush in this kind of family pot?

I'd cap the flop. If he bet into me on the turn, I just call down.

I think that you can make one more raise on the river. Your opponent could very well have a pair with the Ace of hearts Kicker, or have top pair and tried to play this to make it uncomfortable for any singleton heart to continue.

I think that the raise is thin, but probably correct.

If you get threebet, you could fold, or pay him off, but I would expect that a threebet would have to be a flush.

Good luck,
play well,

Bob T.

what about a flop cap?

That is certainly another option, but with a set here, if I am ahead, I would like to get my raise in on a big bet street.
