I just got knocked out of a 5+1 SnG, and I was wondering if I played this hand right..
8 handed, blinds are 25/50 and me and my opponent are both mid sized stacks. My opponent is tight for the most part, but I caught him on a bluff the hand before this one.
UTG+1 limp all fold to hero (CO) and I raise to 175 w/AQs, blinds fold and UTG+1 calls
Flop (2 players) pot: 425
Q J 9 (all off and not of my suit)
Opponent checks
I bet 400 (leaving me w/about 350)
Opponent calls
Turn
Rag falls
Opponent checks
I push
he calls and shows AKo and catches a 10 on the river to knock me.
My question is, should I have bet more (pushed) on the flop and been happy w/picking it up there (if I did)?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
