With aces full of eights over quad eights.

Just kidding. He did lose with aces full, but of course there is no bad beat jackpot for it. Out in 52nd.

I wonder how it feels to be up against the nuts on the flop, drawing dead, to get runner-runner 3rd nuts and still lose. This late in the WSOP.

How good does it have to feel to flop quads at this point in the tourney? /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Good luck,

In Big Deal, Tony Holden reports that someone busted out on the first hand of the 1987 or 1988 World Series when his Aces full ran into a royal.

3rd nuts? why not 2nd nuts(or, as I call it, the taint)? was there 2 pair on board with the ace or SF possible?

During play on Tuesday a table near mine had this hand: flop 55x, 99 moves in, gets called by 55. Board comes running nines. no joke.

hey Tyler!

haven't been on here all day. I'm guessing you busted out.

If so, did you post a report on your experiences in the tourney? where is it?

if not, I can't wait to read it. we were rooting for you man.

Didn't Howard Lederer write about a hand last year where someone flopped quads, someone else flopped a full house, and a third player turned a straight flush?

Must have been online somewhere. Sounds like it was one of those Party "action flops" that they rig to generate more rake. Everyone knows that cards like these never happen live /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I busted on Tuesday night around 10 PM Vegas time. I'll post a full report soon.
