Greg gives some great advice and makes a lot of solid posts here, but personally, I've learned more from a small handful of snakehead posts. And I like his style.

Since I don't have a piece of Greg like a number of you here, and everyone I know has already busted out, I'm just rooting for the guy left who has helped me make the most money.

That's snakehead.

Kick some ass!

I have learned a ton from Snakehead's clear and consise posting stlye. He is one poster I surely go out of my way to read.

Greg has the bigger stack, but Snake has position on him. Should be an interesting day for the both of them as there seems to be a large number of chips on their table. More than the average as I make a quick glance.

I would be great if they tilt the table and drain chips from the other side as they stay out of each other's way!

Go Snakehead!,

I don't know Greg, but I do know Snakehead and he's tough as they come (at the table). I great guy too.

Go get 'em, Brett.

In a previous link identifying Snakehead, it listed his location as Evergreen, Colo. But he regularly plays in LA, right?

Clarkmeister

He used to live in CO, but I think he has permanently relocated to LA. At least, thats what I recall him saying last time I saw him.

John Murphy $750,000 slightly down
Julian Gardner $275,000 down
Greg Raymer $330,000 down

from PokerPages. Those three guys were all at snakehead's table, so hopefully the chips are moving his way.

Whoops, you beat me. Great job Snakehead, you da man. I've had nervous breakdowns at work just thinking about the series so I can't imagine what it's like to actually be going through it. PROPS!

Ditto on the congrats to Brett. Though when you play as big as he does and have won as much as he has, I doubt that this situation rattled him in the slightest.

He gets $30,000, one more place and it would have been $35,000.

Congrats Brett.

I'm out, due to an extremely stupid play on my part. now I want everyone to root for my buddy mike mcclain. great guy, great player, and he has lots of chips.

marcel and john murphy were both at my table, and they are both playing well. I wouldn't be surprised to see them at the final table. another player to watch is davin anderson. not a great player, but lots of heart. scott carpenter falls into that category also.

OK. He is my new horse. Nice work, snakehead. Sorry to hear you went out on a bad play rather than a bad beat - the former is always excruciatingly frustrating. Nonetheless, great performance.

PS: Please see my personal note to you posted in this forum.

i played w/ this mcclain guy a lot on stars. A tough cookie, and a royal pain in my side for sometime now.

Never regret the extra $5000 when you made a profit of between $20,000 and $30,000 (depending on how much it cost you to qualify). Nicely done!

btw, how much did your entry cost, and how many qualifying tournaments did you play before you won a seat?

Everyone gets a little nervous. We are talking about the World Championship that just happens to have a 24 million dollar prize pool and the ability to make you a household name.

I can't imagine trying to sleep the day before th final table.

Plus the players are exhausted from playing/concentrating for 13 hours a day for several days in a row.
