Heads up hold em with no blinds.

I bet out $50
Opponent raises to $100
I re-raise all in to $105

$255 in pot with $5 to call.

Is opponent really getting 51:1 on this call or is he really getting 1:1?

With $55.00 to call, don't you mean?

Sounds like there is $205 in the pot when he makes the $5 call so he is getting 41:1 on that call, or in others words, if you showed him AA he would have an easy call with 72o.

$50 bet.
$50 raise ($50 + $100 in pot)
$105 raise ($150 + $105 in pot)

But my thought process is - in reality isn't he only getting 1:1 since it cost him $130 and his opponent put in $130 and there's no dead money in the pot?

I think it is correct to refer to pot odds only as associated with a decision to call or fold.

Here your opponent had to make that decision only once. At that point, he had to decide whether to call $5 to win $255. So he was getting 255:5 odds on this call, or 51:1.

It is true in an overall sense that he got 1:1 on his money for the complete sequence of decisions, but he got 51:1 to make the call at the end.

The math doesn't work. If your opponent calls the last $5 raise the pot will be $260. There are only two players and no blinds so you put in half or $130. I do not see this from the betting.

I think you are confusing raising $100 and raising your $50 bet to $100 (a $50 raise).

If he folds, he will have $5
If he calls and wins, he will have $210

By calling $5 he is gaining 41 times the money, 41:1 on the call. What you must realize is that he is now competing for the money he already put into the pot, since they will not belong to him, but they will belong to the winner of the hand. The $100 he put in is no longer his and can only be won by calling.
