Is this rake beatable?

I have recently been playing 2/4 at the Europa in Costa Rica. Just wondering if it is even possible to win with the pot being raked 3 dollars max + 1 dollar for jackpot (no flop no drop).

The table is VERY loose and VERY passive and we toke 50cents. Is this still beatable?

Yes, you can probably take home almost two bets an hour if you play very well.

You don't mention the way the rake is collected, if its 5% up to $3, or 10%. But either way, this is very reasonable. Any game filled with non-rocks should make this a beatable game.
