Hey all! Long time lurker, first time poster.
This hand happened in a live NL tournament (300 entrants) over the weekend. The buy-in was $50+5 with up to three add-on/re-buys of $25 each in the first hour. 1500 chips to start, 1500 for each rebuy. I have enough for the entry fee and two rebuys. I buy one immediately (this was allowed at any time). Therefore I start with $3000 in chips with enough to add another $1500. Everyone else at the table has the standard $1500 buy-in except seat 1 with $3000 and seat 10 with the full $6000. Blinds start at $25/$50 and double every 15 minutes (very aggressively). I am in seat 5.

First Hand. I am UTG+2 with AcKc. UTG ($1500) moves all-in.

Your move- raise all-in, or fold? would anyone just call here?

Re-raise all in.

With the inexpensive rebuys, you'll see some super loose play during the rebuy period, and you've got a great hand to take advantage of this attitude.

A flat call might induce a bigger stack to go all in, so you want to maximize your chance of getting heads up with the bettor.

In these tournaments with a fixed number of rebuys, you really want to bring enough to take advantage of the full number of rebuys allowed.
