He's off to a great start. I'm really looking forward to the recap after he takes it down! /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Go Greg Go!

Wow. Harrington made a nice comeback! Wasn't he dangling on the edge earlier?

It looks like FossilMan is reaping the benefit of all the advice he's received here at 2+2. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Seriously, I know of no other poster who offers as much clear, concise, and usable advice as does Greg. It couldn't be happening for a more deserving guy.

Can you imagine how much more so these forums will turn to sh1t when Greg wins the big one and mentions 2+2.

He really does deserve it, his knowledge of NL and tournament strategy and willingness to share it with others is unmatched (aside from published authors, many of whom know far less than Greg)

BTW, If he finishes top 5 2+2 should sign him to write that ever so elusive 2+2 NL book

Frankly I'm not the slighest bit surprised. We know Greg is a very good player and with a bit of luck any top player can win. A long long way to go but he has a good basis, thats for sure.

I couldn't agree more with this. I have read many many of his posts. And he has made me a better player (along with fnurt, eMarkM, Kurn, and some others). He has been giving great advice to many many posters for a long time. I wish him the best.

Good Luck

Wow- he looks younger than I pictured. How can a baby face like that be such a grizzled veteran? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Even though I have never even met Greg in person, I am very excited to see him do so well. As many have pointed out, he is among the very best posters we have here- it would be fitting if he is able to follow his own advice and cash in a nice score at the big one.

If he makes the final table, I hope he is still able to hang out here and post without being barraged with "Hey Greg!" posts...

I think it's absolutely great that Greg has done so well. It's obvious from his posts he is an extremely skilled player. I've been searching the archives for a post he made here quite some time ago about his thinking during a huge pot he stole from a couple of unsuspecting players. The move was great, but the thought process behind it was brilliant.

Good luck Fossil Man!!
