what do they do in these situations in tourneys? I mean how many hads will I miss, or will i miss 0 since it is a problem for everyone. will we all reconnect around the same time?

but I think I read that in cases of server failure...all hands that were in progress will not count, and all chip counts will return to pre-hand conditions.

Ring games seem to be fine. Looks like it's just tournaments. Guess stars shouldn't run two freerolls at once anymore.

Sometimes it can take way over an hour. There is no way of knowing. You just have to be patient.

They usually post small messages to keep you hoping...

if it does take a long time, will they still resume the tournamet where it was? i dont want them to cancel it, as I was doing pretty good. I dont want to wait all night only to see it cancelled.
have they ever had to cancel one before?

Right, everything is frozen, also the ring games and they are losing millions.

Thank god for 2+2. I thought I had a major problem. Frozen out of tourney and my account says zero balance. I emailed support but who knows when they will get back to me so i thought of posting here to see if anyone else was having problems and as usual you guys are way ahead of me.

This happened to me, also on a monday night about 3 months ago, same tourney coincidentally and it went down around 11:30 and they got it back up and running around 1:00 am. So if you're in a tourney and have some chips, they will probably get it running at some point but it could be a late night.

Also, and I'm not real sure about this but i think they kept raising the blinds while it was down so when we get back it could be real interesting.
