This is regarding the 5/10 and 10/20 6 max games on party poker. How much worse is the rake for the player at 5/10 vs. 10/20?

This is from memory, but I think the percentage of pot that rake is is 1.5% on 10/20 and like 2.3% on 5/10.

Rake is the same for 2/4 through 10/20 : max's out at $3 for a $60 pot

my figures agree with nick - in a 15/30 6 max game its .95% - curiously average rake is larger for a 10/20 6 max game than a 15/30 6 max game - obviously the 10/20 is a tad looser - no wonder party limit the number of 15/30 6 max tables to 3

That's odd. You would think the 2/3 blind structure would make the 15 looser than 10.
Then again, common sense doesn't always prevail around topics pertaining to Party. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

i agree so i double checked - i have a biggish data base at both limits and average rake at 10/20 is .03c more than 15/30 - go figure
average pot size for the 15/30 games i've played is about 7 times the BB whereas for 10/20 its 6.5 times the BB - the average players is the same
you should check out those 15/30 games for your challenge schneids - the games are regularly wild
