Since Mason has acknowledged that the 2+2 forum is a 2+2 profit center (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=705158&page=&view=&sb =5&o=&vc=1) (even without counting the extra book sales it creates), what if anything does 2+2 owe to its most valued posters?

Nothing. If anything the most valued posters owe 2+2 for creating a forum and huge knowledge base that they can utilize to increase their profitability.

Dumb.

Peple post vountary. If you do a good job, you become a respected poster and you can get others kicked off the site, or you can goof off and post off-topics and show pepel nudie pictures.

If you do a real good job, you get noticed by the publishing world. Some posters like Major Kong got a gig riting poker articals.

Creme rises to the top. Crap, unless it is bumped by a moron like me, falls to the bottom.

Sometimes nothing can be expensive

Nothing, and it should go without saying.

That not having to be said I think a more interesting discussion is how valued posters can partner with 2+2. For example putting a 2+2 tourney team together for major tourneys.

This is a general thought where a ton of details would have to be worked out. Such as work shops, monetary considerations, advertising responsibilities, ETC. Bottom line, both players and 2+2 ownership would profit.
