Initial Deposit into the Online World

I'm going to be making my first deposit with Party soon.
Which method of depositing funds do you recommend? What have been your plusses or minuses with IGM-Pay, Neteller, etc. I have no accounts set up at any online payment services, so I'm not tied to anything. Thanks in advance.

I've only use Neteller and Firepay.Neteller is much better.

Welcome to the forum. If you planning to be a serious player my advice is to use both Neteller and IGMPAY. Neteller for initial deposit will give you 100 bonus if you can invest 500 in your undoubtedly solid skillz. A second 500 (or a repeat of the first) can be deposited with the IGMPAY bonus getting you another 100 bonus. PM me if you have any questions. Good luck.

If you are new to hold'em I recommend starting on a site such as Poker Stars, where you can get your feet wet playing for real money at the nickel dime games.

Stars has games like .05/.10 limit, and one & two cent blind No Limit games, whereas the lowest limits you'll find on Party Poker are .50/1.00 (limit) and $25 NL ring games with blinds of .25/.50

Thanks for all the information everybody. Party sent me the standard deposit bonus email, 50% up to $100.

I was going to go with Stars initially, but am seriously considering Party. No bonuses at Stars right now per Bonuswhores.com.

Thoughts on if the free money is worth it anybody?

No question whatsoever, join Party. They have the best games. They do not however have micro limits like $.01-$.02

If you play 1/2 or lower the free money from all those sites in the long run will make you WAAAY more than your micro limit game.
