The other thread was getting a bit crowded, so I decided to start a new one.

First question: Anyone have chip counts from the Day 2 players?

Well the chip counts are up on another thread. Who do you think will be the first big name to bust on Day 3?

From PokerVoice:

Dolly has doubled up

Devilfish is down to 15K from 55K

Hellmuth lost one third of his stack

Lederer has doubled up and knocked out Dutch Boyd

Given that Dutch Boyd is already out, I'll guess Dutch Boyd.

Does he count as a "big name?"

But seriously, I wasn't sure whether to root for him so he could pay all you guys back, or whether to root against him because he's such a jerk.

Root against him because he wouldn't pay anybody back if he won.

Not that anyone cares, but my buddy Steve Greenberg is up to 104K+ in chips. He survived an all-in where he bad beat the other guy.

He had TT, to the other guy's JJ. After raise/re-raise pre-flop, the flop came JT9. Steve bet out 8,000. The other guy pushed and Steve called. The case Ten hit the river to knock out the other guy.

Whew.

Over 2000 people are disheartened today as I've not heard that she's out yet. Could just be an oversight...

Day 3 WSOP
I happened to deal the key hands that knocked Annie Duke out. The first one occured when Annie 65K open raised 2 off the button to 4500 (blinds 8-1600 200 ante) David Scheff 125K in the BB called. The flop came As 8c Js, David lead out for 10000 then Annie raised to 30000 and David moved all in. David had Annie covered and she had approx. 28-30K left and then she folded. Right after David flips over Q8s to show that he had a pair of eights and a flush draw.
About six hands later same blinds UTG+2 100K raises to 4.5K, Annie 24K cold called as did the button 85K. 3 to the flop of 5 4 2 r checked around turn paired the 5 5 4 2 board UTG checked Annie went all in for 24200(I had to count 19000 in 100 chips) the button thought for about 5 secs. then called UTG folded. Annie had KQo and the button had AQo the river didnt save her and that was that.
On a side note Greg Raymer the fossil man ended day 3 with 297000 in chips which puts him with in 15000 of the lead.
