Anyone else in this one?

I'm looking to ride my good luck from last nights 4th place finish into this one.

Best of luck to any 2+2ers involved. I'm a605296a and starting at table 69 if anyone wants to drop on by.

cool..what table are you at? Do you have the same username?

As for me, its been tough so far...only won one hand and that was for less than 100 chips..I'm down to about 550 right now with the blinds at 25/50.

I'm Check_Fold, table 39. Looks like neither of us is doing too well thus far. We need to double up once before the blinds hit 50/100...

Up to 1000 after winning a decent 3-way pot. Gives me a little breathing room.

Nice. I'm still at around 1100....50/100 blinds are about to eat me alive.

I'm over at table #2 now...hopefully, I'll move one more time before its over /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm out around 650th place on the hand below. If SB hadn't called preflop, I was going to shove immediately(good/bad?). Is the shove postflop standard? I can't believe I was called by an unimproved AK there for that many chips in a multiway pot. Good luck to you the rest of the way...

Thats pretty tough...I agree that it was a pretty poor call on his part, but thats what you get at these tourneys until the morons are weeded out. Sorry man, better luck next time.

At the 2nd break now. Blinds will be 100/200 when we return.

I'm at 3000 chips. 365 people left with an average stack of 3800.

In nice shape A6, you keep hanging around and eventually you'll hit a big hand. The chip ave. right now is 51,000 yet the blinds are only 100-200. Plenty of room with a 3,000+ sized stack. Players are dropping out like crazy right now, down to 260 and 130th is in the $$$.

Thanks for the support man...yeah, thats pretty much what I'm hoping for- to just hang around and steal small pots here and there

jwvdcw's random thought of the day: The 'average stack' is totally meaningless. I don't know why people even bother talking about it. Through these past 2 tourneys, I've come to realize that all that matters is your stack in relation to the blinds, not your stack in relation to the average.

At the 3rd break now

I'm at 6500

154 people left with average stack of 9000...top 130 make money

you're right about the avg stack. The blinds and the other stack at your table matters more .

Keep going, 24 to go to be in the money.

Get pocket Qs in MP. Short stack goes all in with A-10s ahead of me. I call. My queens hold up!

thanks...man, if that one big stack weren't there, I could be the Big stack at the table and steal a lot more...he has perfect position too- right in front of a bunch of short stacks trying to hold on to get in the money

wow....just hit a huge pot!

pocket 10s in EP. I raise to 3000. Short stack goes all in for 1000 more. LP calls.

Flop comes J-x-x..I push...LP calls.

LP turns over 9-9. Short stack turns over A-Ks.

My 10s hold up! At 250000 now!

I'm on button with 500/1000 stacks

EP guy with only 1800 chips goes all in.

I have A-10s..what should I do?

I decide to fold.

BB calls. EP turns over A-4 /images/graemlins/mad.gif

A comes on flop...4 comes on river..saved myself a bad beat /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yeah, it was amazing how I wasn't upset at all after it happened despite it being a pretty bad beat, especially since that guy was way overplaying his hand by raising with Q-K from EP with a pretty average stack.

I plan on playing in tomorrow's multi at Party if any of you 2+2ers wanna join me.

I would play in the one with you tomorrow, but I just got 50th in a qualifier for it when I needed to get 24th. My pocket 10s lost to AJ when an A hit on the river. /images/graemlins/frown.gif
