Im just before the cutoff in a typical loose passive 1/2 party limit holdem game. Everybody fold to me and I have KTo, sould I raise in this spot ?

Well, if you were pretty sure you were going to take down the blinds or at least get it heads-up with the BB, you could raise here, but I would rather be in the CO or button to raise. KTo is pretty weak.
But really, it just depends on how loose/tight the blinds and the people behind you are. You don't have to get the blinds very often to make raising correct.

if you think anyone there is capable of folding its fine. KT is not that bad heads up.

Everytime. Unless the blinds are ultra-loose.

I'll raise there almost every time, whether the blinds are loose or tight. The times I'll fold are when I expect to be three-bet a good percentage of the time.

Thanks for the quick reply. I wanted to know if it was profitable to open raise late with a marginal hand in a loose game. Another question in the same topic, to how low would you go ? would you do it with A7o, QTo, 33 and the like ?
