I see people often include a link to "party hand converter" in their posts. What is it good for? How do I use it? I clicked on the link but how is it related to the poster's hand history?

It's merely a link to bison's fantabulous hand converter. You load up your hand history, check a couple options and 'click', automagically it makes it pretty and readable for posting on the board.

Ahhhhh! So you use it before posting. Now it makes sense. Thanks a lot.

i have an idiot question to add too. this hand converter IS amazing. it popped up here when i was gone.

Q: who is bison, does he post here, and why did he do all that work on this? or is something like that easy?

anyway, i'd love a recap of who he is. that's a very nice toy. i'm working on a project that i may need to use the converter, and i would like to contact him for permission.

Bison is poster bisonbison, found mostly in the micro-limit and SS forums. He's been posting less of late (or at least less in the ml forum).

ty BDids.

i will look him up and PM him. i know he has it out there for free use, but i would like to give credit if nothing else.

btw, when you were at fulltilt yesterday, did the "cartoon bubble chat" work for you? that option seems to be greyed out for me.

that's a riot. the replies to the hansome chapter are almost as good as the post itself. duck had a great one there.

thx for the link. i was having trouble finding a post of his to PM.

Didn't try... guessing it was greyed out for me too, 'cause I probably would have.

not only is his sarcasm bitingly hilarious at times...but he also happens to be a very strong ML player imo.

i think his analysis and observations of various hands (mine and others) in the ML forums has helped my game more than any other poster there (sorry sfer, sublime, bdids and others).
there was a stretch in there where he was lending his analysis to almost every HH posted in there.

Hey Granny,

Do you mind if I ask you what kind of project you're working on? I only ask because I actually have a number of tools that I use in developing the hand history replayer (http://teamfu.freeshell.org/replayer.html).

Some of the tools may come in handy depending on your project, so I thought I'd drop a line and at least ask so you might not have to re-invent the wheel (depending on what you're doing).
