Hi all, first post here.

Need some help with a bet a stranger propositioned at our home game the other night. Here's the wager:

The bet is $20 for each of exactly 5 flops. The stranger is wagering that the flop will contain a Q, 3, or 7.

I believe the stranger is the favorite but I am unsure as to how to compute this. Obviously the three particular cards are unimportant as there are 12 regardless. I inferred from the stranger that the flop needed to contain at least one Q, 7, or 3, but I don't believe it was limited to exactly one.

Is there a big brain out there that can help me with this?

Thanks in advance

P(Q/7/3) = 1 - P(no Q/7/3) = 1 - [(40/52)*(39/51)*(38/50)] = 55.3%

So, he has a huge 10.6% advantage over you if you accept the wager.
