Quick question for those with tons of hands. I had a great rate for 10k hands last month which lead me to believe i was beating 3/6.
This month I am almost 11k and break even for the month.
Difference: last month i mostly played on absolute poker (bit looser), this month Party Poker.
Is 10k hands still a small sample? Is it not enough to determine i am barely break even on party?

how many hands can be defined as a streak then? i had plans to move to 5/10 after the first 10k, but i am clearly not beating 3/6 as much as I thought i was.

When you've got at least 30K hands and a good win rate, then you could assume you "might" be good enough to move up.
I wouldn't say with any confidence until I had at least 60K.

BTW, at 4 tables of 5/10 i could eat a steak in about 25 hands. Maybe more if i had potatoes too.

Is that 25 hands PER TABLE or 25 hands overall? 25 hands overall goes pretty fast when 4-tabling. I think you'd have to be eating pretty fast or folding everything to eat a steak that quickly. Besides, a steak is something to savor, not to scarf down. Save turbo mode for a Big Mac or something.
As to the other question 1K hands ain't nothing.
