UB Points Question

If I have "bonus dollars" in my account do i lose them or any of them if i make a withdrawal without clearing them ?

The UB points seem to take a while to clear so its not worth taking advantage of all the bonuses if I have to keep all my money there before clearing them

BTW ... UB has another 20% reload bonus offered

NO you will not lose them if you cash-out.You will just see a zero cash balance and below it your pending bonus balance.

I've cashed in and out over last 4-6 months burning 2-3 bonuses but I still have a huge bonus balance.

Are there any games on UB that are as profitable to play with a bonus, as Party games are to play without a bonus?

Crockpot says some of the higher LHE games are better than lower limits that tend toward the tight side.

I think the best way to extract value IF you must play UB is to know yourself and your strenghts and weaknesses.In general I dont like playing on UB eventhu I like the speedy software..the games are just much tougher it seems to me but IF you have a big bonus balance to burn you may be tempted.

-I have played in some really good Omaha 8OB limit games -$2-4 and $3-6.If you play this fairly well..there are often decent games if you are selective.

-I used to play alot of PLO at UB.If you play that well and you see a small blind game with beefy averages there is value there.These games havent looked too goods for months and when they are good they are so spotty as not to be dependable.

-"Know thyself "-Do you play LHE well short?(2-6 handed)?If you do this is THE best way to burn bonuses at all sites UB PokerStars etc.Right now many players have huge UB bonus balances.Be the first or second to start up a game and you get double bonus points on all raked hands.Only do this if you feel comfortable playing short if not then skip it.
These games have good and bad players many of whom dont play well short but are in the same predicament we are-having to burn off big bonus balances.Play as many as you can of these tables at once!

Personally I dont think it's worth it for most players to play at UB just for the bonuses .The game quailty plus the the bonus dont compensate you for leaving fishfarms like Party /images/graemlins/frown.gif IF you play there regularly or play well short multi-tables it makes sense!

sorry for the rambling.To answer your specific question.I would say it matters how well you play.I think the most value is to start up short LHE games and play the maximum 3 tables at once.If you start up a game and end up with a crappy tricky bunch of players...leave and stay at the better tables!!

I think I really need to work on game selection, because my results so far this year show that I'm not doing any better at Party than UB.

In fact, I am very close to breakeven before bonuses at ALL of Party, UB, Stars, Intercasino, Pokerworld. I'm almost exactly even at Party over 250 hours this year before bonuses, but have a slight profit at UB (about 1 BB/hr over just 50 hours). Intercasino is probably the one site that shows the most consistent profitability over significant hours in my personal results.

Of course, I am winning at all the sites I have played when I include bonus money (over $2000 so far this year). And with the raft of reloads pouring in right now, It doesn't look like I will have to (or be able to?) play without a bonus for a while.
