Just a few hands in, table is v. LAG already. Too much preflop to call? Post-flop play automatic? Thanks in advance.

I am not very fold of playing small pairs this way. In an aggressive game, where it's likely to get raised (tournaments we are talking here) you're too likely to have to pay too much to see a flop. Here, because there were so many players in, I suppose you were OK, but it's still putting up a big chunk of chips for a flop you will have to fold most of the time.

For 1/15th of my stack, I'm making this limp/call. If you hit your set, you stand to win a big pot. If you miss it, it's a very easy throw away.
