Preflop: Hero is MP3 with T/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero raises, CO calls, Button folds, SB folds, BB (LAG idiot) calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)

Turn: (6.25 BB) 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
LAG idiot bets, Hero folds.

I was planning on calling down (mistake?), but when middle card paired - meaning even if he didn't have TP, but rather just MP, he's now passed me - I decided to give up. Guy probably had J6o anyway.

Final Pot: 7.25 BB
Main Pot: 6.25 BB, won by LAG idiot.
Pot 2: 1 BB, overbet by LAG idiot.

Results in white below:
No showdown. LAG idiot wins 7.25 BB.

As a "read" here is a prior hand I played with LAG idiot:

Hero shows 2h 2s (three of a kind, twos).
LAG idiot shows Qs 8c (flush, nine high).
Outcome: LAG idiot wins 16.25 BB.

Between these 2, a KK hand where an Ace flopped, and the blinds, I was down a quick 40 in two orbits. I just logged off. PT says I'm a 1bb/100 player, but I feel like a loser. Seems like every session lately, a few bad turn of events and I'm in a big hole that I more often than not don't come out of. My good hands have to hold up perfectly for me to compensate for the flops that miss me, in order to have a winning sessions, and it almost never works out that way. I read all these books, pour over these forums for hours a day, but the results just aren't coming.

I think the turn fold is bad. I'd likely check/call him down as from your read it's equally likely that he has a flush draw or even bottom pair here.

I agree you can't like the middle card pairing but I think there is a chance you are still best against a LAG opponent.
