Hi Everyone:

We hit a new milestone today. First off, we had over 2,600 posts in the last 24 hours. That's an amazing number and the most we have ever had.

In addition, during the last seven days we have had just over 14,000 posts. That's over 2,000 a day and again is the most ever.

Thanks to everyone for their support and a special thanks to Chuck for installing the new software which can handle this large volume.

Best wishes,
Mason

2,000 posts a day, wow. i figure about half of those were attributed to the tommy angeloitis post in the mid stakes forum. the question i have is has 2+2 begun the move from poker strategy forum to cheap shot/gossip forum?

Hi dayrn:

Gee, I've read for years how I'm a cheap/shot gossip artist. So why would anything be different?

Best wishes,
mason

touche!

to be honest i enjoy a good debate, with or without cheap shots. i like the fact that people try to defend folding 22 to a preflop 3-bet for 1 more small bet, because it promotes vigorous conversation. it wouldn't be much fun if everyone just agreed upon the correct answer now would it? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi daryn:

We encourage vigorous debate. Also folding 22 to a preflop 3-bet for 1 more small bet is kind of like having ugly people so that the good looking ones will know who they are.

How's that for cheap gossip?

Best wishes,
Mason

Mason,

I noticed that you almost never post in the Internet Gambling forum anymore. Will you come back to make some contributions there?

First off, we had over 2,600 posts in the last 24 hours. That's an amazing number and the most we have ever had.

Breakdown:

2,000 were in the Other Topics Forum.

595 were in the Tommy Angeloitis thread.

5 were "other"

You can thank David and Tommy for that. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

No, seriously, congratulations and thanks. It's both the high quality of the posters and the high quality of the site that attract people.

Mason,

Do you have any stats regarding the number of views per day? My guess would be if you have over 2000 posts you have about half a million views.

By view I mean someone clicks on a post or thread. Looking at a thread in flat mode counts as one view, looking at each post individually would count more.

BTW, sorry I'm not posting quite as much but all my time seems swallowed up these days.

But the poker is good /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Rick

Hi Rick:

There is nothing like that on my administrtor page. Perhaps Chuck could get that information.

Best wishes,
Mason

Mason,

Maybe I should have asked about how many hits your site gets per day. In any event, don't trouble Chuck, he works too hard as it is. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
