Was putting him on a draw and betting at him the right move or extremely risky?

I would check and call the river. Does anyone else think raising AJo in early position to be a bad move?

At most loose low limit games, you can't do much else.

a 3 bet on the flop would have given you a better idea of what he had. Most players will just call and not cap with the flush draw.

If you do have him on the flush draw that misses you want to check/ call the river. Let him bluff in to you.

No, raising AJo from UTG is fine.
