Mac users need help

Can you run most of the poer sites using a MAC i book i just got a great deal through work for one and want to use it strictly for poker but if the sites dont accept Mac's then i will go with a think pad.

look at the web sites where you want to play, they should show system req's. I have an IBM Crashpad at work. The old 600e sucked,and had to be re-booted several times a day, however, the T30 I have with XP has been reliable.

if you get a beefy enough mac you can run VirtualPC and emulate Windows and thus play on all the sites.

The only real Mac-friendly poker site is Poker Room, which offers a java applet to play as an alternative to a downloadable app. It's a decent site that has gotten better over the past several months, adding tons of NL tourneys and micro-limit (.25-.50) tables as well.

Other than that, ain't much out there for us Mac users unless you get Virtual PC....
