I noticed just today that Turning Stone outside of Syracuse, NY is having a week of tournaments and I am thinking of playing in this weekend's events. I have listed a link to the schedule below. Has anyone played in the tourneys this week and/or have an opinion how the tough/soft the tournaments are?
Schedule is as follows:
Date Event Buy-In Results
Wed, May 19 at 12:00 PM Nl $100+$20
Thu, May 20 at 12:00 PM nl $200+$25
Fri, May 21 at 12:00 PM nl $300+$30
Sat, May 22 at 12:00 PM nl $500+$40
If I am motivated I might play in any or all tournaments (but Sunday's only if I money in one of the first two). Chips start at 2000 blinds start at 25/25 move to 25/50 in half an hour and pretty much double thereafter. I have never played in a live tournament; does this blind structure seem good or terrible?
