I used to play a lot of poker (15ish hours/week) but lately, I haven't had the time and now play less than 10 hours/month and it's definitely hurt my game.
My last two sessions were both pretty big losers. Looking back, the cards I got were below average, but not terrible; my opponents were generally ok, but not great; and my decision making totally sucked.
Consequently, I'm demoting myself from 10/20 all the way back to the .50/1.00 tables for some remedial poker and am going to force myself to work my way back up through the ranks once again.
The rules:
1. I only get a $69 bankroll (because anything that starts with 69 has to be good right?)
2. Limit play only
3. I can't bump up to the next higher limit until I hit a predetermined $ amount of winnings.
4. No multi-tabling
5. No tournaments
Where do you think I should set the thresholds for moving back up in limits?
