Bet the flop with A8. You have TPTK and dont want to see it checked through.

You don't like raising with 77 on the button, it's the only place I'd raise like that. Given the pot size, drawing to the flush seems OK. What I didn't like was the fact that once I hit my flush I wouldn't bet it.

In loose/passive games, I'm limping from 77 in every position and trying to hit a set. I might raise on the button first in, but that almost never happens anyways.

I'm also not even considering a 7-high flush draw on a monotone board. When the flop is one-suited, I'm out of the hand unless I've got the Ace or a good TPTK/TT/set sort of hand.

Like I said, I was confused. I just kept having a hard time laying hands down, and then feeling like I should apologize for taking them down.
