Well, today is my last chance to play in this year's WSOP $10K event. I won a seat in a $22 multi for tonight's $320 sat. This will be my fourth one of these, two I paid full price, plus a $600 sat that I also got in cheap. I had two finishes in the 20's, but for the most part I have wasted about $900 on this year's dream.

It's no comfort that someone that owes me $56,838 is getting to live the same dream every year.

I hate poker.

Probably doesn't help that he won 70% of what he owes you last night either.

But think how great it would be to make the final table with Dutchy sitting right next to you. /images/graemlins/smile.gif That'd make for some interesting ESPN coverage.

I have my fingers crossed for you. You deserve a chance to make it. If it makes you feel at all better, I am rooting with all my might for Boyd to go out dead last.

You deserve to win a seat - then maybe fate will allow you to knock Dutch out of the tournament! Good Luck. Dogmeat

Well, if I win a seat I'll have to help from you guys on my Dutch "you scum-sucking bottom-dweller" Boyd cliches to use during the play(tough to cut out) of a big hand with him. America deserves to know the truth instead of the young smart guy with chip tricks that ESPN has been selling of him.

I completely agree with everything you say about Boyd, but I was just wondering, what on earth possessed you to keep that much money in 1 poker site? It just seems like such a ridiculous amount of money that could have been invested/in the bank.

I mean, isn't 2-3k plenty to have in a site for a 15/30 player?

before mssunshine speaks for himself.....

i asked the same question...he explained that he didn't start with that much.....he was just continually winning there and was consistently unable to cash-out any of it.

Oh, kinda like I was "unable" to cash out from Choice? That does suck. I hope Boyd gets his next 23 AA's cracked.
