note: this is not a bad beat story as aces should beat kings, and i found the situation very funny. it's also not any kind of a statement about shuffles/action flops/action cards/etc as i do not believe any of the assertions regarding that. i'm just wondering how many members my club has /images/graemlins/smile.gif pokerstars $100+$9 turbo sng, and TURBO it was; 4 people went out before the blinds hit 15/30. this was literally the very first hand, hand history is #439939372.

That definitely sucks. Trying the limp-reraise with KK hey?

How did you make it go to T1880? Is there a problem with the converter?

I had a very similiar situation yesterday. Very first hand of the the tournament, I was one off the button, 2 people limped in, I raised to $150, BB raised to $500, everyone folds, I called all in(I know, I overplayed my kings-probably should have called the $500 bet and seen the flop), BB calls; BB turns over A,Q clubs, flop- club,K clubs, club. Praying for something to pair, to get a full house; but didn't happen and I'm out in 1 hand.

I did this to someone else about the 4th hand of a PLHE multitable tourney. Either way, I am not ashamed to go broke with KK. Sometimes the other guy has aces, but a lot of times he has AK or QQ or JJ and I get a nice head start.

rob,
you didn't overplay your hand here at all, you had the best hand and got all the money in, just because you got outdrawn does not make it a bad play. You can only overplay KK preflop if the other guy has AA.
