I want to learn and improve at shorthanded play so I started messing around a little playing 1/2 at both Party and Paradise. But mostly my play so far has been at the 5 max Paradise.

My question is this, which format do you think is better the 5 handed at Paradise or the 6 handed at Party? I think I kind of like Paradise 5 handed better but am wondering if there are major differences between 5 and 6 max. My plan is to play a few thousand more hands at 1/2 and if successful try out slightly higher stakes as 1/2 doesn't excite me. But after only about 1500 hands I can see my play improving and that I'm starting to see and understand the differences between this and the full games I am accustomed to.

Main difference is that you have to be more careful UTG 6handed then 5handed. Dont autoraise QJo, QTo if its 6handed. But playing 5handed and 6handed is similair, there are a lot of threads about it if you search in this forum.

I also think that there is a difference between diffrent sites playing the same limit and number of people. Paradise 1/2 5handed is good to practice at because there are many ok players. At, Intercasino, for example, they are much worse.
