Fold preflop if you aren't going to bet this flop. But really, I fold preflop.

This, my 500th post, is quite dissapointing.

In short, you should be calling here preflop provided you aren't a rank amateur, which you aren't if you are reading this.

Clark,

I've read this thread before, thanks.

But can you see the reply names? As in, everyone who replied is anonomous? Something lost in Chuck's upgrade perhaps? Do you have this same effect when you click on your link? Anyone else?

Peace,
Joe Tall

Yeah, all I see is a bunch of "ananomous" handles.

Same for me and it doesn't make it easier to read...

I noticed that as well. The only consolation is that you can see who the posters are responding to. So you can kind of figure out that way who posted what. Far from ideal. We'd probabaly have to ask Chuck what's going on.

Does anyone have the Mike Petriv book reffernced in the second thread? Any good? (I'm gonna post in Books if no response here, no need to suggest it)

On the flop, do you check-raise or bet out?

I'd tend to check with the intention reevaluating when the action is on me. Assuming the preflop raiser bets: With several callers I may call. I may fold to a raise and I may checkraise a single caller. I don't say "I'm going to checkraise". I don't know yet just what I will do because so much information has yet to be revealed.
