My game doesn't feel right. Here are some stats I have from about 1400 $0.50-$1 Paradise Poker hands. What do you think? (For one, flop seeing % seems about 4 or 5 points too high.)

T9s: 50 (1/2)

% of pots I win when I bet or raise the:

Pre-flop: 54
Flop: 56
Turn: 66
River: 94

Showndown win% 53
Showdown lose% 47

% of all of my actions that are:

Any comments are appreciated. Do any good players have their numbers

for some of these stats?

thanks,

Tom Spec,

First, welcome to the forum.

Now the bad news. 1400 hands is not anywhere near long enought to tell how you have been doing from a statistical point of view. For some online players, that isn't even one day. The summary numbers are in the right range, so that is OK. If 1400 hands isn't enough to get a feel for your game, the sample sizes for the individual hands are even smaller, and really aren't big enough to even start spotting trends.

Also, in my opinion, you are better off posting hands, and pinpointing the problems that you have in playing those hands, then in posting statistics, and trying to figure out what you should change from those statistics. Unless your statistics are grossly out of line, it is really difficult to give you good advice about the changes you should make based on statistics alone.

Finally, we have a microlimit forum here discussing play below 2/4. This way, threads in both forums stay near the top of the list longer, and get better discussions.

Good luck,
play well,

Bob T.

Tom-

After careful analysis of the detailed credentials and factual cases you have provided, I will pass a tip on that was once provided to me. Flop more sets.

Just messing with you, but 1400 hands is much too small of a sample to deteremine anything from. Realize that good and bad streaks of cards can last several thousand hands. Keep playin, good luck, and keep posting hand histories to get a better grasp of how to play during tough decisions.
