I played this hand in a Party 5+1 SNG NL hold'em I was put to a decision for all my chips with a pretty mediocre hand I decided to fold and it probably cost me an ITM finish, would anyone call this bet. Any opinions appreciated.

The button would need 58 or 53 for your hand to be unplayable and that's very unlikely. Even if he's trapping with AA or KK you've got a ton of outs. Win this pot and you've have a shot at winning it all. Fold and there's no guarantee of making the money with 5 players remaining. No brainer!!

with top pair and OESD i would call that faster than you would believe.
I would expect to be ahead and win at least 90% of the time too.

I would call with any pair, chances are he didn't get any of the flop and at this point you have to hope he didn't. I would have called with 42.

You were SB and posted a blind of T200? You also have BB folding with no bets out there. Am I missing something?

It's a converted hand but i think someone had just gone out and only one blind was posted.

Point taken, I thought after i bet out and he went back over the top he must have an overpair at least or maybe even a set. That was an important pot though and i should have bit my tongue and called it, but i didn't have the balls.

I think you failed to understand how strong this flop was for your hand. Even against AA you are virtually even money.
Considering only 2 players saw the flop, you simply have to assume you're ahead. If he has a made straight or a set, c'est la vie.

Thats true about 45/55 but do i really want to be all in with a 45% chance against this guy in the bubble.

If he showed you AA, probably not. But odds are he does not have a holding as good as AA /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Now you got me, thats must be why i felt a sense of deep shame as i pressed the fold button and meekly limped into 4th place. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif
