So, is this turn bet profitable in the long run or not?

Let me count the reasons...
You may take the pot here, you likely have 13 clean outs (2.5 to 1), your getting 5 to 1 already, you have even better implied odds if you hit, you may actually have the best hand(ok, this one may be reaching /images/graemlins/wink.gif).
I bet this in a heart beat.

The turn bet is a good bet imo.

any ace, 3 or spade will be good, plus the pair you already have might be good too (not often /images/graemlins/smile.gif )

The preflop call is a bit on the loos side though. had you been running good ? I wouldnt make it never. Might raise it once in a while but only one in ten. Muck it avoid problems.
