Early in a 10 dollar NLHE tourney (no rebuys). Everyone has roughly T1500. Blinds 10,20. I am dealt KK in mid position. UTG+1 raises to 50. Folded to me. I raise to 220. Folded to UTG+1, who calls. Flop A, 6,10 rainbow. I bet 170. UTG+1 raises to 500.

What do I do?

Here is another one...

Same tournament. Blinds 15\30. I have T1080. I am dealt QQ UTG. I raise to 100. UTG+1 (T1095) calls. Button (T1360) calls. Flop comes Js, 5s, 4h. I bet only 30 by accident because my touchpad is a bit dodgy (tough one to analyse!). UTG+1 raises to 100. Button calls. I raise to 240. UTG+1 raises to 500. Button calls 500.

What do I do?

Be brutal about my play up to the moments of truth.

Hand 1: Too many people lose their shirts with KK when an A flops. However, checked to you on the flop, you bet only 170 into a 470 pot. Now his raise might indicate a weak ace, which he might have folded to a strong bet, or a bet with JJ or something like QTs hoping to make you fold a bigger pair. When you bet KK preflop you need a solid plan for how you're going to proceed if an A flops. In this case you either have to check behind or bet at least 400. In this case, once he's raised, you should fold.

Hand 2: Again on the flop, after your mistaken minibet, it's 475 back to you and you underbet the pot again. I'd push in here (the right play is to initially make a pot-size bet).
