I am new to the multi-table tourney scene and i find myself in positions where i am checking "scare" cards far to often.
Example:
Party Poker 30+3 NLHE
round 4- Blinds are 25/50
i have T3000
i get AKo in the BB, one lp limper with T5000, and sb T7000 completes.
i raise to T200, lp calls, sb folds.
pot: T450
Flop A /images/graemlins/spade.gif Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif 8 /images/graemlins/club.gif
i bet T450, lp calls.
turn Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif,
check, check
river 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
check check.
I was to chicken sh*t to bet 1/3 of my stack when the queen came off and then again on the river when the spade hit. Should i have bet the pot on the turn, or half pot- and when does checking a scare card go from being prudent to pussy?
