As usual

Stars $10+1 18 seater NLHE first one after 8pm GMT / 4pm EDT.

Everyone welcome.

We obviously all need some practise to beat those damn americans!

Plus Praying Mantis and Stoneii are both not playing I believe which means it is time to catch up a bit on the leaderboard!

See you all there

Am I on the lead?
If that is not the case, no need to update /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice - see you there.
You should have no problem getting in. The Euro games are not as busy as the US games (un)fortunately

Well I wish I hadn't bothered. Had a few ok starting hands but seemed to get myself in trouble with them, then went out with tens on a crappy board to 97. Really stupid, don't know wherer my head was.

Its fair to say that Mack bossed the final table as he had more chips than Harry Ramsden. When it went Heads up it was 24k Him vs 3k me. Unfortunately I couldn't make this clear advantage pay off. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well played Mack. Good game everyone.

Well thanks for that Byron - and to think I picked you for my squad of 4 too in Euro/USA - you leap out 1st there - I turn my back and you're in top 3 again.

I was rooting for non 2+2'er as he scoops the 100 points /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just kidding /images/graemlins/grin.gif - good game - 2,3,4 for euro 2+2ers is more like it /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm not convinced that Mack isn't a 2+2er - he played in the Atlantic game last week too.

I'm mainly posting these for the benefit of ClemsonAce, who I tangled with in each of them, getting him to fold each time. I thought it only fair to put them up for discussion as I'm intrigued as to what I was up against.

Clemson took a long time to fold Hand 1. I was sure he hadn't got AK as I figured he'd have re-raised me on the flop. I was sure he had an Ace or a King and there was no way I was going to let him draw a cheap card to beat me if that was the case.

Hands 2 and 3 - I just figured I was ahead but vulnerable so my intention was to scare him off.

Thoughts appreciated, particularly ClemsonAces himself!
