Why is Nole only taking 4K? He already has a seat but he has the chiplead. He has more then 7K and the other guy has about 5K.
Why didn't he ask for more?
And if he did not wanted to win another seat why did he play then? Why not play a multi for money?

I think a lot of people don't just have 3k to spend on a World Series seat, so it is difficult to ask for an equity-based split. I know that if I was in Antillador's position, I would not be able to agree to the deal, because I don't really have 3k to burn (and money on top of that to fly to Vegas). In fact, if I was in Antillador's shoes, I would have offered to receive 4k or 5k and let Nole91 get the rest, since he did have the chip lead. I could use that money to play in 4 or 5 more shootouts if I wanted, and I'd still have an extra 3k or 4k in my bankroll.

It could also be possible that he didn't realize that he just gets $11k cash for winning, instead of an extra seat (I know this is how UB does it, so I assume Stars does this too). Of course, then we have to answer your question of why he would play the event.

Check the FAQ. If you win a second seat on Stars, your only option is to sell (or trade, or give away) the seat to another player with an account on Stars and 1000 FPP. Lee Jones has discussed the rationale for this a bit, either here or on rgp.

If you win a seat on Party and then win a seat on Stars, neither site will be willing to let you transfer the seat.

That was me discussing the deals with the players.

Basically since the player involved already had a seat - by winning this qualifier he received $1000 cash (they did a deal that the cash went to 2nd with 3 left) and an extra seat.

There was no cash alternative for the seat even if the player already has a seat - he can sell or transfer to another player >1000 LTFPP as per:
