This story doesn't have a happy ending.
Very early in a one table tourney on paradisepoker.
Limped in with QJ off, lo and behold flopw is 8 9 10 rainbow.
Other raisers - i let them bet it. So I guess you could say i slowplayed it.
Long and short of it is 7 comes on the turn, making 2 spades on the board, and 2 others go allin. I still had the nut straight at the time.
Didn't work out that way. One guy had a KJ, and of course the river is a Q. Tourney over for me.
Did i make any mistakes? Or was it bad luck? I am wondering if it was some of both. It was early, and I was trying to milk the pot, which is why I didn't re-raise after the flop.
