Anyone have any experience playing here? I've been seeing the ads in CardPlayer and am tempted to go merely for the "Aces cracked, Win a rack" promotion. Anyone ever seen this happen? Do people check down in hopes of someone beating them so they win a rack? Are there any other jackpots to play for? And most importantly, since it's in Compton, how safe and how clean is the cardroom?

I went there a couple times last fall, back when they had the aces cracked promotion in the evenings. During those times, they had 3 or 4 tables of 3/6, maybe a couple tables of other limits. Not a really big room. I'm pretty sure they have a fairly standard sort of bad beat jackpot as well, but I don't remember the details. The 3/6 players were horrendous, well above and beyond the usual terrible low limit players. Casino and cardroom seemed plenty safe to me - it's in Compton, but the hotel and casino are relatively secluded.
