Who are the top 5 in order live players and top 5 tournament players in order. And who is the best at both. Lastly, overall who is the best poker player alive today.

You may only recognize one of these players. Why? Because the best live money players are not well known at all. You do not see there name up in lights and posted in tourney finishes. The lone exception is Mr. Baldwin who by circumstances became famous long after he was one of the best live action players. Anyone who underestimates his talent is in for a bad day.


As for the top 5 Tournament players, your guess is as good as mine. Tournament structures are still heavily weighted towards short term runs of good cards. Suppose whoever is an above average tournament player and enters the most tournaments is going to appear to be the best.
