Hotels Near Turning Stone Casino In New York

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations about where to stay around Turning Stone? I don't want to stay in the inn or the hotel at Turning Stone because of the price. If anyone can help me out it would be appreciated.

I stayed at the Vernon Downs racetrack which is about a 10-15 minute drive away.

It was about $100 a night.

I went there toward the end of last summer, and every hotel within 10-15 minutes was booked, so you might want to call and make reservations. We ended up passing on the tables out after our game broke, but the floorperson didn't seem to have a problem /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've been there 3 times and I had a good time (playing 3/6), but unfortunately you don't get the tilting drunks like you do at other places /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks, I have been to Turning Stone many times but never stayed in a hotel, always drove back at 4 in the morning which sucks. I think I might just stay in East Syracuse, its only a 30 minute drive to Turning Stone and for 43 dollars a night at a Days Inn I can't go wrong. Later.

The poker rate at turning stone was pretty cheap I think like 80 when i stayed there 2 years ago.
