WPT Blurred Image

I just saw the commercial for the new WPT coming up this Wednesday. It is an Aruba one that I thought Ultimate Bet was sponsoring. Looking at the table, it seems that WPT has blurred some of the words on the felt, where the words "Ultimate Bet" would probably be located. Did something happen and is UB kicked out of the WPT circle?

Word is that they blurred out the ".com" part of UB, to avoid issues with the US District Attorney and the recent "ban" on online gambling ads.

I just saw the ad too and it appears the entire name "UltimateBet.com" was blurred out.

i agree...they obviously ditched the whole name.

this certainly seems like overkill on the part of TLC if you ask me.
and i suspect it will be kind of distracting during the show too.

oh well, at least it's not a re-run.

I'm wondering if this is going to change if Kerry is elected president. Different DOJ Different Rules enforcement.
