Can someone give me some situations and how to play pocket 10s once you get to the flop. Ex. one over card on board, 2 over cards, number of players.

You're gonna have to post some specific hands if you want to get more replies. It depends on a lot of things like position, and read on opponents and how they bet.

The proper way to play T's (and J's) is to raise preflop and fold on the flop. Sorry, I love that joke /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Seriously, obviously it would be difficult to cover every possible situation. Generally, the fewer the opponents the less you should worry about an overcard. If you are first to act or it is checked to you and you were the preflop raiser, then you are going to have to bet most flops. If there are overcards and there is a bet and a caller to you, you should just fold unless you have straight outs. The thing to remember is that a pocket pair has little chance to improve after the flop.

Here is where knowing your opponent pays dividends. If someone bets into you and there are obvious draws on the board then against some opponents you have an easy fold, while against others you should raise.
