Has anyone else noticed this?

When you first see Worm playing cards in jail, the guy he's playing says something about how he shouldn't add insult to injury and "That sh*t'll come back and hurt you."

Even the very first time I saw the movie, I was thinking that's pretty obvious those guys are gonna kick his a$$ at some point in the flick. But of course it never happened. Started to think it was weird after seeing it a couple times.

Then, I played the trailer on the DVD, and I noticed there's a scene in it where the guys he was playing in jail are chasing him out of a cardroom. Too bad there isn't a deleated scene index. I wonder why they cut it out.

More than half of the trailer is deleted scenes.

if you get the screen play it has the deleted scene's in it....very interesting stuff to get an insight as to how the scene's are set up and the other stuff that is going on in the background. Just an example of a scene not shown in the movie....You know how in the beginning of the movie Mike is playing the game with KGB and the other's.....well each of them are the dealers at one point in the game....There is this one guy dealing and after the hand is over he's pushing the pot to the winner....while he's pushing the pot to the winner he scoops up some of the money and places it in his own stack.....one of the other guys in the game see this and tells the other guys at the table....well needless to say they beat the tar out of him

Yeah, that pissed me off when I saw the trailer on the DVD. They all looked like some pretty good scenes.
The "Anyone notice that this guy wins everytime that guy deals" line looked damn interesting. No idea where it would fit in the story, though.

Worm was a mechanic...so this is where that would be fit in

True, but Mike McD only worked with him while he was cheating in the one scene at the girl's house. After that, he insisted on playing "straight".

It fits perfectly before the scene were worm gets caught cheating by that police officer.

Worm does get his a55 kicked later in the movie, but not by those guys. I just assumed the line was referring to that.

never seen the trailer though. I guess there is a deleted scene...

Read the book that the movie was based on, it will fill in all the gaps.
