With MP1's pre-flop play, AK or AA could be a concern, so yes your play was OK. But, I don't think taking it to 3 bets on the turn is a terrible play either. If he takes it to 4, then you would need to slow down.

I fold PF, but raising is second best IMO. I would raise when I knew MP1 has loose raising standards. Since you didn't have any reads I would fold. Your PF play is fine I think.
