i just wanted to thank aleomagus and the others who helped with the 10+1 strategy guide, it bumped my 4.68% ROI to 25% in just over a week- and i have not finished 4th in my last 51 SNGs (i do have 7 5ths)- i thinkit is essentially my bubble play that has improved my return.

I really don't want to discourage you here, and I'm sure Aleo's strategy has helped you a lot, but when you say you had a jump from 4.68% to 25% in a week, you should think about how many games you were playing to achieve the 4.68 figure, and how many it took you to turn it into 25%.

Otherwise, jumps like that could easily be related to variance. In certain games, I had runs of much more than 50% ROI for a few dozens of games, felt like a super-star,and then went down very very deeply and up again and so on, until some stabilization. And that's without doing any significant changes in strategy. So just be careful about judging from small samples.

But it sounds like you're doing a good job.
