KEM out of business?

I don't know if this is true or not, just wondering if you guys have heard anything. I have been looking to pick up a double deck on ebay and one of the ebay "stores" made mention that KEM plastic cards made its last production run at the end of 2003. Any truth to this?

I've heard that they are on hiatus until the fall. They were bought out by another company and are moving their plant (to Ohio? Would the buyer be US Playing Card Co?). So supplies will be tight for a little while

I have a setup of KEM cards and just love them; for the 15-20 bucks it is well worth it. I wanted to get another setup with a different design. So that plan might not fall through.

I wonder how it will work now to get replacement cards; if it's even possible.
