Only read is SB who is passive and predictable
hasn't bluffed yet, calls down with over-cards to the river and often folds if they don't improve, genuinely scared of scary boards...slows way down to trip/straight/flush possibilities even sometimes heads up. All in all someone begging to be pushed around with well timed aggression.
Button is short-stacked.

ProfLupin is UTG+1 w/ A /images/graemlins/club.gifQ /images/graemlins/club.gif
UTG folds, Prof raises, CO calls, Button calls, SB raises, all call.
4 to the flop for 12 small bets:
[5 /images/graemlins/club.gif 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 3 /images/graemlins/club.gif]
SB bets, Prof calls, CO calls, Button raises, SB calls, Prof re-raises, CO folds, Button caps, SB and Prof call.

3 to the turn for 12.5 big bets: [5 /images/graemlins/club.gif 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 3 /images/graemlins/club.gif][T /images/graemlins/club.gif]
SB checks, Prof bets, Button calls all-in .75, SB calls
River: 8 /images/graemlins/club.gif
SB checks, Prof bets, SB calls

So the flop play is my big question here. The SB betting out into a paired board sent over-pair warning lights off in my head and probably tens or better since the raise came from the small blind. Should I have just called the button's raise instead of making it three? Obviously I was hoping the CO would come along, but him dropping out and the button capping made me think my reraise was probably not the best considering how dirty my overcard outs were looking.
That being said, the pot was big enough for me to think that the raise might have held value. Comments?

i would probably cap pre-flop - even if someone has say AK or KK all the dumb money going in means your odds arent horrendous

on the flop i dont get why your overcard outs are dirty - they are a bit grubby but not much more than usual for overcard outs

i like raising and capping the flop if i had capped pre flop as now it wouldnt be so obvious that i was predominantly betting my flush draw - i cant be bothered with a calculation as to whether the flop 3 bet had a positive expectation or not - if its close then i like bet
