I'll be in Vegas in a few weeks during the WSOP, and was looing for advice as to were the best games were. I've only been out there once, and played $15-$30 and $30-$60 at the Bellagio. Games weren't that great, but I still did fine.

Anyway, I plan on playing mostly $20-$40 or $30-$60, possibly as low as $10-$20 or as high as $50-$100, but probably not. I'm staying at the Golden Nugget, though I don't mind heading up to the Strip to play.

Any of you mind giving me a rundown of the best games in town??

Also, info on daily tournaments with a $100-$200 buy-in or so would be appreciated.

You could do worse than the 20-40 games at the nugget. They're pretty good from what I've seen and played in.

Oh yeah, they have second chance tourneys every night at the shoe. Maybe 200 buy in? Haven't played one yet. Start with 1k chips with 25-25 blinds i think.

You are probably best off downtown during the WSOP. Nugget is a good option.

I was down there last weekend. Mirage 20-40 and the Bellagio 15-30 and 30-60 were all as good as I've ever seen them. Didn't play the Nugget.

How long did it take you to get into a game, Haakee, at the Bellagio? Was the Mirage any better (in terms of wait time)? Thanks

30 minutes to 2 hours usually at the Bellagio. Waits tended to be shorter for 30-60 than smaller games. At the Mirage the wait was 0-30 minutes (usually closer to 0) for 10-20 & 20-40. There were also unused tables and I got into a few new games that they started shortly after I got on the list.

Any waiting at the Mirage is insignificant.

Somtimes, it's feast or famine with these two. There are some nights where there is a two hour waiting list at the Bellagio, while at the same time they can't even keep a full table in the Mirage games.

Is there a website that lists all the daily tournaments in Vegas? I know about the Friday night Bellagio $500, and will probably take a shot at that provided I haven't taken a beating over the course of the week (and I'm not at the final table of the Big One...). I'm looking for something in the $50-$300 range over the course of the week as well though. Anybody know where to look?
